Hello Everyone!
Hope you all had a good weekend!

Sunday thread: Rich, Caramel Apples.....I'd pay $6 for one!
MFIB: I didn't make notes of all the flowers I took photos of so I'll take your word for it!
The white outlining on the petals is beautiful. I just pulled them up on wiki...thanks for the name!

Everyone must be super busy this weekend. Since we didn't have posts from yesterday, I'll just start a Sunday post rather than a weekend post. Hopefully someone else will pop in today. If not, well, at least we had one post for the weekend.

I really wanted to go for a motorcycle ride this morning and take my cameras. Had the bike uncovered and the GPS mounted but finally came to my senses and covered it back up - my back is not quite 100% and I knew the ride I had planned would not do it any good so I did the smart thing for a change and delayed the ride until maybe later in the week. Such a nice morning too.

I spent a good amount of time yesterday working on my music web page so at least I was somewhat productive. Hope all are doing well this weekend.

Just a little shot of a pond I ran across. This is pretty much as close as I get to taking flower/nature pics.

Good morning all. For a minute I thought it was Friday but nope, not yet. Doesn't matter much these days anyway.

Exciting news yesterday, at least for me. I got my shipment of 100 new CDs. I'm already packing up a couple to send to friends in San Antonio - one of which has co-write credit on one of the songs on the CD. Listening to one of the CDs this minute just to make sure everything sounds OK. So far it does. It is already showing up on Amazon, iTunes, Spotify and a few others. I'm also using a site called hearnow so folks can listen if they want to. Not photo related but there you go.

Tonight DW has a birthday dinner for some friends so I am on my own, so I plan on making Red Pepper Pasta, which Quint posted the recipe for a while back. DW is not a fan of anchovies but it sounded good to me. I'll need to make a grocery run to pick up some red bell peppers and fresh parsley but I have everything else.

Does anyone ever pronounce the "d" in Wednesday?
Well, make it a great one anyway!

Nothing new to report here.
I'll probably make some bread today to use up some flour.
No new photos since the weekend.

This was shot in Tri-X sim on my Fuji

Another week almost gone but at least the weekend is here. Hope you have some fun activity planned!

DW found out the local library was having a book sale so we had to go check it out. I also wanted to see there they hung my photo that I had entered in the last Artist Guild contest but we never could find it. Someone from the library is supposed to email me where it is though. But anyway, I bought a few books while there: "Writing Better Lyrics, the essential guide to powerful songwriting", "The new Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain", "Mexico Stories" (in English), and "Paul McCartney". I also saw a book called "Learn Photography in one Weekend". So I have wasted all these years learning when I could have had that book and learned in a weekend. Dang. The Drawing on the Right Side I have heard of for years but never bought, but I figured for 50 cents I could check it out.

Might go for a short ride a bit later before it gets too hot, although it is already 78 and barely 0630.
