Good morning everyone and welcome to the weekend. Hope you have something fun planned. The only thing I have to do this weekend is go pick up my photos that were hanging in the gallery up in La Grange. Don't know if any of them sold but I will find out tomorrow when I go to get them. Not really counting on that though. The biggest news though is that DW is coming home tomorrow from DDs house. She was up there helping with the grandkids while hubby was away with work. I'm hoping she will be home by the time I get back from the gallery.

Yeah Patty, I try to check in to the forum at least daily just to see what is going on. I haven't been posting much because I was trying to get my CD finished and sent off for pressing. That's done now so now I wait for them to get made and sent back. Probably another 2 or 3 weeks though.

Here are some more random shots from my "shoot" up at Callaway Gardens. I hope to get the 4x5 B&W film developed today as well. Curious to see how the pinhole shots turn out.

Thought I'd get you all started by peeping in.

Happy Wednesday to All, I hope this is a great day for everyone!
Looking like rain today. I have pounds of cucumbers that I picked when I got home and
I don't have what I would need for pickling so I guess I can make some just in the fridge and share the rest
with neighbors.
(they went crazy while we were away)

Another beach shot with a classic chrome finish.
(similar to "kodachrome" but not quite)
My camera can shoot in these sims and you can see the affect in the viewfinder but if I choose
to shoot regular, those specific sims are available in the raw file.

Good day, folks.

This past Saturday was kind to my camera, yielding 4 or five decent photos.

A small succulent in the outer yard displayed very photogenic tiny flowers...

(I wish I had remembered to try different aperture settings - the photo would be much better if all of the flowers were in sharp focus.)

Good Monday Morning Foto Friends and welcome to the new week.
Ah, it feels great to be retired again.  (referring to my editing job from the last three weeks).
It actually does feel like that.

Yesterday I was able to create a new artistic rendition for a FLICKR group called Sunday Sliders.  Using the sliders to the max in your editing software is highly encouraged for this group. This damsel fly was NOT in distress as it rested on the cattail reeds around the pond up north by our trailer.

Today it is going up to 90.  I need to do a little shopping and will be heading out as soon as I post this.
Have a great day and stay cool, comfortable, and relaxed.
LORELL

Welcome to the weekend all. I thought I would start with a little color - spotted these when I went out to check the rain gauge this morning. Images appear a bit soft here, but they were pretty sharp out of LR.

In other news, bought more peaches than we could eat, so I found our food dehydrator and tried my hand at drying some of them. Worked pretty well. I also dried some chili peppers. This morning I tried roasting some Serrano peppers in the oven which seemed to work OK.

Good day, fellow Foto Friends.

Early on July 4th morning Pippin was napping by the open front door, barely illuminated by diffuse pre-dawn light, and I thought this might be an opportunity for a moody shot or two

The first clicks of my camera woke him; here he displays one ear up and one ear down (the dog equivalent of bed-head ) as he groggily looked at me...

But he is a world-class sleeper and within seconds was back in dreamland...

Have yourselves a good day.
