Greetings friends! Pretty slow in the forum these days. Hope all is well with you!

Here is one from a trip to Albuquerque, NM for the Hot Air Balloon Fest, with a stop at an aquarium.
Imagine you are in first grade learning to spell  Albuquerque!!

Good day, folks.

I mentioned finding some old photos of dogs. I posted them on Flickr and Rich already viewed them there - thanks Rich.

This is our first Westie (Guinness) on 1999/01/01 (the day we brought him home). I didn't take this photo (a much younger me is holding him); I think my wife did, using a Sony Mavica that saved on 3-1/2 inch disks, and of course the image quality 25 years ago was pretty poor so it took a lot of processing work. It remains one of our favorite photos of Guinness...

And another of Guinness at age 7; he overcame being the runt of the litter and turned out larger than the average Westie...

Finally, this is Chubb, taken around 4 years ago: a former neighbor asked me to take a photo of him. He was such a photogenic dog - I love the lighting in this one...

Have yourselves a great week.

Taken down the block on Tuesday...

Good day, folks.

Another succulent shot, taken in my front yard two days ago...

I appreciate the small reddish bits - I think they add to the photo by providing some complementary color relief from all the green.

May it be a stellar week for us all.

Wow, May was incredible. So many wonderful photos, and a vid!!

Well, on to June, how about people.

A candid shot while eating at HWY 55, a burger joint in the southern States. Leica Q2

Good day all!  A bright blue sky day here with NO wind for a change! Might have to grill out tonight!
We were supposed to have a classic car show last weekend but we had threat of rain so many didn't show up. Those that did were busy with their chamois.

Thought this was a good one with the drive-in food tray on the window.

Happy Hump Day.

I hadn't taken any photos in several days, so on this morning's second walk I vowed to change that. Pickings were pretty slim, but here's one 0f a flower (and I'm drawing a blank on its name) blossoming beside a neighbor's RV...

Hello friends,
I hope you are having a terrific Tuesday.
I finally got outside with my camera this morning and took photos of my flowers in our backyard.
I only got a few decent takes, but decided to change everything I could about this shot of a peony because it has been a long time since I sat behind my computer and dramatically played with a photo I took. And also because of the nice compliment Dave paid me regarding capturing the ordinary and transforming it into something special.

I hope this one satisfies that praise.  It was fun to do. The original peony is a medium PINK.
Now back to my sewing.

Early in the week I resolved to return from a walk with a photo that was NOT overly dark, yet avoided the fault of blown-out whites....
