How Does Your Garden Grow?

Here are as few of what I'm trying to grow in 15 to 20 pots, taken 07/01/2024:

1) Midnight Snack Hybrid (a uniquely colored variety of cherry tomato)...

2) Another plant of the same type...

3) Black Krim Heirloom (I have 5 or 6 thriving plants because this is my absolute favorite) They ripen to display a mix of deep red and almost black and have a rich complex taste with low acid and quite a depth of flavor in a complex mix of earthy hints...

4) Yellow Pear, a lovely variety that is showing signs of producing a lot of fruit...

Other pots contain a variety of peppers ranging from mild to very hot (Bell peppers, Poblanos, Dragon Cayenne, Blazing Banana Hybrid, two varieties of Thai Hybrids); but these are slow in developing and some aren't doing well.

No new photos so I just revisited and reprocessed an oldie (taken 10 - 15 years ago) of some mushrooms growing at a home a few blocks away...

They almost look bronzed, as was once popular to do with baby shoes.

We had a nice sunrise in my neighborhood two mornings ago - a break in the usual June Gloom this time of year...

I have no new photos worth sharing, so here's on I probably posted on WetCanvas long ago. It's a male Allen's hummingbird at one of the feeders in our inner front yard, taken 15 + years ago...

I had forgotten that I took a few photos of this small cactus blossom four days ago...

I wish us all a good weekend and hope that those in parts of the US stay safe in the heat.

Yes I've beaten you to hump day again.

Less than one kilometre walk would get me to the closest edge of this wetland yet I have to drive about four or more to get to where I don't need to get permission to cross private property. However, it is very flat country and I'd need gumboots and a high chair to get really good photos.
Yes, these are Australia's unique black swans in their natural habitat in a Ramsar listed site, just a kilometre from my backdoor.

Yes and this was my first foray with a Nikon P950. Haven't even familiarised myself with the controls yet.

Good afternoon all.
Well, like a lot of you, we will be trying to keep cool this week as the temperatures across the country are going to be HOT HOT HOT!
Here is a photo that I took for the MACRO MONDAYS  (FLIKR)  challenge of "WINGS".  Lensbaby + Topaz (post processing) = WING and a Prayer.
Stay safe, stay cool, stay happy,

LORELL

Hello all.
And a Happy Father's Day especially to all the great dads here.
I did some light painting  last night and just finished layering all of my images to create this composition.
These two related oil cans, "father and son" were my dad's.
I wanted it to appear that the little guy was leaning in to say, "Happy Father's Day Dad".
Have a great day.
LORELL
