Greetings all! Lots of snow here, started yesterday about noon and still going. Have a few inches and since it is going to snow until late afternoon more coming. Might be a white Christmas around here.

Here is Niagara Falls from a trip long ago. The tunnel is a good view of the power.

During my early morning walk today I noticed this red-orange rose that was just tall enough for the sun to illuminate...

I hope all are doing well and I wish a Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate the holiday.

Good day.

Here's another shot of pumpkins left over after Halloween, taken a few weeks ago on a dark morning long before sunrise...

Good morning all.

Another Saturday that DW and I will not be able to see our college teams play since we are not subscribed to the proper streaming service. I think she is more frustrated about it than I am, as I rarely can sit through an entire game before I have to get up and do something else.

On the agenda today is finishing greasing the wheel bearings on our travel trailer as we have a camping trip planned for Jan. Going to visit a National Wildlife Refuge in North Carolina where apparently thousands of geese and swans spend the winter. Should be some good photo ops.

Meanwhile, here are a couple from my recent camping trip to Florida on the Spyder. This state park had dozens of different species of "turkey tail" fungi. Also got a bit of Fall color thrown in, even though most of the trees there were pine.

The start of the work week - sure glad I'm not working anymore.

Some nicely lit Day Lilies taken yesterday...

You all have yourselves a good week.

Greetings all from white South Dakota. Some of us got a dusting of snow last night. It won't last long though. Temps in the 50's next week.

Here are a couple of photos from the original Grand Ol' Opry building in Nashville. On the second one you can see some boards that the color doesn't match. When they built the new one they cut a circle out of the center stage and put it on the new stage. Lots of history in that old stage. The small photo is of half the bus tour. I am on the stairs far right. This was a few months after my total hip replacement. Still using a cane then for balance.

Greetings Friends! A gloomy day here today. Heard the "S" word on the forecast for Sat. Possibility of a few snow flurries.

I am a little concerned about this mural. It looks like they didn't get the cobs close together and it left the white of the tracing show through. Not good. Years ago they used black tar paper so that didn't happen. I wonder if they will repair it.

The second photo is what they start work on. Any ideas what it will be?

This past Sunday I woke up early, as usual. A few hours later, noticing that the clock read 05:15, I fixed myself a light breakfast then set off on my usual morning in the predawn in the dark. But I had forgotten to reset the clock to accommodate the new Daylight Saving time and had 30 minutes to kill until the grocery store opened
I used those 30 minutes to take some photos in the darkness.

Here are some pumpkins left over from Halloween...

And here's a shot of a favorite scene - behind the mall, featuring strong light here and their revealing the nature of the utilitarian and stark look behind this small shopping mall.
