TGIF, everyone.

I wish you all a very good day and an even better weekend.

One of my walks yesterday was under dark overcast skies. I returned with several photos that I thought worth processing. Here's one...

This is a very odd-looking plant. The dark red blossoms are not very gracefully shaped, and they appear at the end of a very long curving branch that runs less than a meter above the ground for at least 25 feet (7.62 meters). Like the flowers, this branch looks rather ragged and not at all aesthetically designed.

Good day to you all.

Yesterday morning I was about 30 minutes too late to see what was most likely a strikingly colorful sunrise. But I did get a few shots of the morning clouds. Here's one...

About to go to sleep, but will start us a Daily first.

A favorite subject, taken last month: yellow rose with raindrops against a green background...

Good Afternoon everyone and have a good start to your week.
I do not get it.  Everyday seems to have so many things that I got to do and it isn't until the afternoon that I get to sit down and relax.
What's with that?

Our Amish family "friends" sent us a letter last week thanking us for the Oranges that we sent them from Florida.
They also wanted to know if they would ever get to see the photos that I took of some of their horses last year.  Unfortunatley, they were on my cell phone and I got rid of most of them with the exception of a few.
Here are two of them.
The poor little guy in the second photo did not survive.  It's mother was killed by a car and the one Amish family who owned the horses, brought the little colt over to them to see if they could hand feed or possibly get it to nurse off of another mare who had recently given birth.  It didn't work and the little horse died.

Hello All.
I hope your ST. Patrick's Day was fun.
I forgot how good it was to see the news showing clips of people smiling, dancing and having a good time as they celebrated together.
Got another busy day ahead of us, so I was glad I could start the daily for you all.
Enjoy the start to the weekend,
LORELL

I've been hoping someone would start us a Daily today but it's been a while so I decided to do it.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all, Irish or not. We have planned a meal of corned beef, cabbage, carrots, and potatoes for later today.

Just a little shot from 5 days ago of a lot of potential pines. This sphere of tiny cones is small - about the size of a golf ball. At least it has a wee bit of green in it...
