It may sound like I'm jumping ahead but it really isn't Tuesday anymore, for me.

Back to those Eucalypts that do have flowers.

This is one of the more spectacular ones.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.

I am so busy. Sorry about my lack of participation.
I have a dinner that we are hosting tomorrow and then another dinner to go to on Christmas.  I am not complaining.  It is good to have family and friends. Just sometimes it can cause stress too.

We have our annual cube Christmas party on Thursday evening. I made 25 cannolis for the event.  It was a fun time. We had 22 people attend, the largest crowd ever.  We found out the result of our yearly print competition.  I got a second-place ribbon for my B&W photo of the Joe Louis Fist Statue in downtown Detroit.  The award means more to me than the $10 prize money.

There were over 200 photos submitted by members to share at the meeting.  It took an hour for us to go through the loop of 200 once.  WE have some pretty talented people in our club.  The competition is getting tough and the best thing is seeing different styles and trends emerging.

Here is one that I submitted.

I hope all is going smoothly for you as you get ready for the next few days of celebrating this important and meaningful holiday.

Good day, everyone.

Again from my archives, again from 2017.

A Chevy pickup that - according to the license plate - is from 1939...

Good day, all.

We're expecting 2-3 days of rain, starting in 3 or 4 hours. Perhaps some scattered thunderstorms.

Again from my archives (October 2017 - it seems that 2017 was a very good year for me photographically)...

Looks like Natalie hasn't posted since Feb, and last visit to the site was in June. I know she wasn't feeling too chipper from some of her last posts. I sent her an email but I think I sent one a few weeks ago and didn't get a response. Anyone know anything about how she is?

It's Taco Tuesday here. Instead of the usual ground beef hard taco, I'm thinking of going with mesquite flavored shredded chicken thighs on large soft flour tortillas, with side dishes of rice and spicy black beans.

I'll stick with breaking out of my routine with this photo from the archives that, instead of my typical style of a dark background and the COI emphasized via strong value contrast and usuall intense colors, this one is high-key with subtle tonal variations and more restrained colors - an attempt to avoid an "in-your-face" WOW effect and try for a gentler and softer look that I hope succeeds by being calmer but still pleasing.

Monday, another week, rain gone, temps to become more seasonal with near freezing temp tonight.

1) FotoFriends rejected my login attempts this morning. Is anyone else having problems?

2) I had to try a password reset and now have a temp password that is impossible to remember. And I can't find where on the site I go to reset it to a password of my choosing. Does anyone know where to find the password reset function?

Thanks

Weekend.
