I'm sure you all have been posting the best of your Feb. photos.
I have not been out much with my camera, so I just have snapshots 
around the yard and neighborhood.
It was 80 degrees yesterday; 3 degrees within breaking a record.
Wow. But cooler temps will return.

This is just a sunrise snapshot off our back deck 
   
I'll try to be back later. I have to make a quick run to town.

Slow Start for Monday m     orning,

Since I again find myself awake at a stupidly early hour, I'll start a Daily.

You probably know that I like images with complementary colors. I took this one in the front yard yesterday and processed it a few hours ago.

The red violet/yellow-green complements seem to be hard to find. Here I really liked how the rich dark red violets (with touches of blue here and there) look with the yellow green...

   

Hi Folks

We are on a road trip at the moment. I happen to have a strong internet connection today, so will pass on an image. This was photographed and edited on Tues/Wed. We were staying at the Karoo National Park, and this was part of the view from our chalet.

The weather was rather clouded on Tuesday when we got there. Looking at the scene, I decided that it would make a good early morning shot. However, that evening the sun sneaked out, and I photographed 88 shots over the one and a half hours until sunset. Although I tried a similar approach on two mornings, those shots will probably never work due to the shadows of the mountains to the left of the scene.

I edited this image on my laptop, without any external screen. This is a bit of a first for me, normally I work with all my PS tools on the laptop, but the image on a larger monitor. I chose 10 of the 88 images for various attributes. These I then combined to produce the image as shown here. There are still a number of minor corrections to be made, and I will probably do some overall lighting adjustments before I'm finished.

Hello again.
I am up late tonight after putting together nine photos for our local club meeting even though I will not be attending.  I like them to know that I am still thinking of them and want to show my support especially by posting some photos that were taken at our club's outings, like the one below.

Well, today we finally had to put on the air conditioner.  We have not had temps like this in well over a week.  Finally, we were able to go out without our jackets! That is a good thing.
So, here is one of the photos that I sent in for the club to view at their meeting tonight.

Good Morning All.
We are finally looking forward to the temps warming up here in Florida.  It has been chilly and windy for the last several days.  The temps were not that bad but the wind was the culprit!  

Our company is leaving this afternoon so I hope to get out to take photographs again soon. 
I enjoyed reading all of the dailies when I finally got around to it last evening.
