Happy Saturday and hope that you are having a nice weekend.
How about going for a cruise in this sweet ride?

If I may, I am borrowing an idea from a challenge that I participated in this weekend.
I think it offers the opportunity for quite an assortment of images.

Topic:  Picture With Added Text.

In this challenge, you must submit a photo WITHOUT TEXT in it.  Then you need to ADD your own text in POST PROCESSING.
For this challenge, your photo should, in some way, be a portrayal of the text. Make sure that the two elements agree with one another.

Well, since I can't cook,   , I will shoot a pretty egg yolk flower....a couple of daffies in my yard.....

Happy April 1, everyone!! Where does the time go? It just keeps running, and running!

Good morning,
Not too many flowers here yet but this Delphinium came home from the store to share its pretty colors.
More sun today too.

Happy Hump Day, everyone.

Another of the photos I took yesterday of flowers after the rainstorms...

Hey, there troops, how is it going?
I am going to post another photo from The Henry Ford Museum trip and I just may be returning there tomorrow with a visit with my daughter.  She is on spring break from teaching this week and since it is really too cold to go anyplace in Michigan, we decided that a visit to the museum might be nice.  Unfortunately we have been learning that there is a winter's advisory for tomorrow from 12 am - 12 pm.  It appears that there will be snow and ice to deal with.  We may have to postpone this trip for a day or two.

Here are some antique phones that were on display behind glass.  So, some enhancements were necessary to camouflage the glare on the glass.
Have a terrific Tuesday one and all.

Good Monday Morning.
Since I am still up and was reviewing the orchid photos that I took at the Michigan Orchid Society Show yesterday, I figured I would start our Monday thread with this pretty one.  I can see why there exists a club of orchid growers. How exciting it must be to see one of these bloom before your very eyes.  The wait, anticipation, the appearance of the blooms, and then the opening and unveiling of a beautiful creation like this.  It has to be a thrill to see it as it develops and emerges from nothing but a root, dirt, and water.  Wow!

Have a great start to your week and remember the following.
It is the simple things in life that are the most extraordinary.  (Paulo Coelho)

Before I go out on my usual early Sunday morning walk, I'll start the Daily. Yes, another colorful rose photo (taken a couple of days ago)...

Good morning all and welcome to the weekend. Today I will be taking my truck in for an oil change and general check up, in preparation for our upcoming trip to Ohio in a few weeks. We missed the last two years because of Covid but so far this trip is a "go". It is something called "The Biggest Week in American Birding" and is held every year right on the shore of Lake Erie, just east of Toledo. 2019 was the first year we had gone and we were looking forward to 2020 when the whole thing was cancelled.   We'll be gone a total of 17 days on this trip. We got our trailer back day before yesterday after having it in the shop for a roof repair, and I still need to get one of the LP tanks filled, grease the wheel bearings, and sanitize the water system. Plenty of time for that though.

I'll start with a nice splash of color with a Yellow Warbler, which we saw on our last trip to Ohio. Lots and lots of warblers!

Digging  through some  last year photos since today is not a day to go out shooting. We have 50 MPH winds today. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing high winds this spring?

So here is one from a car show. Time to think about them again.
