Happy Friday.....brrrr, got cold here, frost last night and expecting 2" of rain and gusts up to 50 mph tomorrow. And just a few days ago was shorts and short sleeve weather......
On the warmer day, my daughter and I put wood chip mulch down in the blueberry enclosure.  My blueberries don't look as good as they did last year, a lot of dead branches.....we had a very dry late summer and I'm afraid I did not water like I should have. Last year picked about 20 pounds....froze in 1 pound bags and using the last bag this week.

Nice day today and tomorrow but maybe a snow event for the weekend.

So today is the day the swallows come back to  San Juan Capistrano. I was there in 2006 for a visit. Here are a couple of photos of the grounds.

Good afternoon all.
Last week our photo club gathered at the community center to have a group shooting using items that members brought in.
One interesting setup was a filament bulb placed on an iPad with a colorful photo on display.  And this what I was shooting 

I took this shot using my LENS baby and I did take three exposures, One -2.0 steps, One +2.0 steps and One regular exposure. I then took the three shots into AURORA HDR processor, and wallah, here is the result. 

I think it rocks.

I hope the weekend has begun well for you. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's St. Patrick's Day meal: corned beef, cabbage, carrots and potatoes. I already have a package of carrots  (multi-colored, just for fun), we have a bunch of small potatoes growing in a large tub, and will pick up the corned beef and cabbage tomorrow morning.

My sunrise on Friday was special: something about the quality of the light caused everything in the scene to display remarkable clarity, and I really like how prettily the small yellow-orange areas work with the complementary blues...

Good morning to all.

Tuesday was our 53rd wedding anniversary so we celebrated with a nice dinner at Carrabba's. Time sure flies.

Our Internet went down last night around 8 PM and was still down this morning. I had to change the DNS settings on the router to make it come back. Went out again and I had to play with the settings a bit to get it to work. Hoping it will stay up now.

Lunch today with the local chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution. I haven't been too good about attending meetings so I am going to try to get back into going.
