Good morning all - hope you have some fun plans for the weekend. I was awake very early this morning and finally got up a little after 4 AM. I'll probably take a spin on the trike a bit later as the weather is pretty good. Already almost 60F and not even 5 AM. The weather forecast for both Prague and Budapest is looking good as well with mild temps and sunny days. Hope that holds.
Here are a few images from my recent trip to Texas, taken with the Lumix P&S.
"A moment in time
Immortalized forever
With silver and light"
Nice pinks from both of you.
Don, that pink flower on a grey leaved bush. Do you know whether that was in a garden or in the wild?
I'm of strong opinion that this is a native Australian plant.
Went to find the Nene so I can get a picture, but I couldn't find them. They're having a loud concert nearby, so perhaps they went elsewhere. I guess those two are well-known in this area. The previous mate of the female was hit by a car fairly recently but seems to have found a new mate. Tomorrow, I hope to see and photograph an i'iwi and other forest birds.
