Some very fine images, guys; powerful seas, striking macros, ice-coated berries, and 2 top-notch manips.
I don't have anything recent that qualifies for the theme, so I hope I can be forgiven for dipping into my archives.
This one is from decades ago - maybe even pre-y2k. It features my favorite color, and shows that even 20+ years ago I favored a natural subject emerging from a dark background into the light...
Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Looks like you caught a glacier calving Grant. DW and I were at Bay of Fundy a number of years ago too. Nice moody B&W shot. And an interesting abstract to boot. I like the crashing wave - I went into my own archives to pull one out from a trip to Hawaii back in 2018.
Peter, looks like your granddaughter was wreaking havoc on the city. I believe they were holly berries... it's been a while on that one.
Those last 2 shots of droplets on green are killer.
This is turning out to be a good challenge.

Sow bug, pill bug, wood louse or slater. Yes that is what it is, trapped inside the thawed bubble, desperately struggling to break the cohesive forces holding it in.
Lots of lovely water and some of the animalia that relies on water. Well done. It seems everyone has photos with water in them and why not, where would we be without it?
Thanks for your observation about the Snowy Egret photo. Yes, the reflection turned out quite nice. And I was fortunate that the sky had a thin, light cloud cover; otherwise the white of the egret would have been blown out.
Three more beauties, MFI.
You sure picked a great theme for this challenge.
From January of 2018 - some ornamental plant adorning small areas near my local grocery store, after either a being watered or after a light rain...
I'm looking forward to seeing many more photos here.

I do miss all the waterbirds we used to have. Egrets and spoonbills and herons bitterns and lots of ducks and swans.
There are so many demands on water by agriculture now that the rivers run dry and the waterbirds appear to have gone forever.
What cost profits? It seems insane that certain people can take the resources owned by all and become rich by starving others.
Dave, your last photo reminded me of this.
This my equivalent of water on the rocks. It is one of the most reliable creeks in our otherwise dry hills.
