Thanks Rich. You hit on the things that caught my eye. During processing I decided to intensify the orangeĀ  at the horizon; not to make it an "in your face" orange, just enough to work well with the deep blues of the sky.

Two very notable South Dakotans. What a long and successful career Bob Barker has. And if I remember correctly, Billy Mills' was the runner (I'm thinking a distance runner, and 10,000 meters came to mind) who won the first US medal in a long time (maybe first ever) at his distance. Wasn't he at least partly Native American?

Note: I just Googled Billy Mills and was surprised that my recollection was mostly accurate.. Yes, he won Gold in the 10,000 meters in the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. And apparently he was 100% Oglala Lakota and raised in the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.

I just wish my rapidly deteriorating short-term memory was as reliable as these long-term ones.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!
