MFI, thanks for your comment about my floral photos.
And thanks for the tips about not startling the wee hummer. I do move very slowly and on good days smoothly. I also try to remember to not wear a brightly colored hat - our hummers seem especially tuned in to red, and to a lesser degree to yellow. There are nearby sources of nectar (various flowers and a feeder).
