Lorell, exceptionally fine image, even by the high standards we've come to expect from you.
Rich, your three photos get top marks by any judging standards. Composition, exposure, value, color - you nailed all aspects. And that's a very nice presentation of the 3 images.
Hi MFI. I hope all is well with you.
No new photos from me.
I've been busy helping a friend. She just returned from a few days at Yosemite and showed me some photos she was justifiably proud of. Several were of the famous Firefall. On one or two days a year things align just so for the setting sun to light up a waterfall descending from a high cliff (weather permitting, of course). The Window of opportunity for getting the best photos is very short and my friend was there a few minutes too early. I commiserated with her about the unlucky timing, then mentioned that I could probably use Photoshop to make her Firefall photos look as if she had been there at the ideal time to show the dramatic effect.
I did an initial round of adjustments and she liked the result enough to say she wants to get it printed then framed and matted. So I recommended two local businesses - one for printing and one for framing.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!
