Hi Don, and thanks for starting the Daily.
Hard to pick among your 3 final candidates.
The first is an impressive image: nice diagonal and great colors (the gray and yellow/orange combo is a favorite of mine). A subtly superior photo.
The second has tremendous impact, and again that nice gray & gold combination colors. Great WOW factor, faultless values, and terrific sky.
The third features excellent values, a strong composition, interesting sky, and a foreground that initially grabs the eye but then somehow releases it to explore the rest of the image. The image has a feel of isolation and abandonment.
Hard to pick one because I think it will come down to the judges' preferences, but if I had to choose just one, I'd go with #2.
I see that you sent me a PM; I'll look at it in a few minutes.
Hi Rich. You posted while I was trying to find and correct my usual many typos. Wonderful photo of the blue Super Moon. Here a marine layer of clouds ruined any chance of seeing or shooting it.
Again from my archives {April 2018); this is one of a sequence of shots of a barn swallow - the only time I've seen and photographed one. I had to lean out far above the flood control channel (rather precariously, and something I wouldn't dare try these 5 years later) for the shots...

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!
