At times when walking in the bush, others have asked me "where are all the orchids?" I say; turn around and look behind you at your footprints on them. All tomatoes are fertile. However they need certain conditions to produce fruit. One of these is pollination. Firstly they need to be producing flowers, which needs the right temperatures. Many tomato growers who may be short of buzz pollinators, use a technique known as caning. Which consists of using a cane or a pencil, an old paintbrush to tap the plant and thus shake pollen on the flowers beneath.
I encourage the native solitary bees such as the blue banded bee. A buzz pollinator buzzes the flower and thus shakes pollen off.
As to getting close to such as moss and lichen, I have an album of those.
Some of them are even a bit arty maybe?
Happiness simply is.
There need be no pursuit.
