Thanks for starting a Daily for us, Lorell.
And I really like your photo. The strong flower colors are somehow enhanced by the presence of the dappled light at the right edge, good value control in a challenging scene, and as always your composition is excellent - in this case the leading lines lead my eye into the photo where the soft background (intentionally blurred? and the top leading line takes me back to the front along the top row of baskets and those on the middle shelf. Nicely constructed composition.
I know what you mean about all the work of gardening that often doesn't produce a worthwhile harvest.
I took most of yesterday off; it would have been my Dad's 99the birthday. May 17 is always a bittersweet day for me. Missing my Dad even 25 years after he passed, smiling at some great memories, feeling bad for all the things I should have said to him and all the questions I should have asked, and very thankful for the lessons he taught me - not through words but through his actions, how he lived his life, how he treated people and how his actions always stayed true to his convictions on everything that was important to him.
This morning's early walk was under slightly overcast skies (here in Socal they refer to this season as May gray and June gloom) that produced a nicely diffuse light. I took lots of photos and did my usual triage to bring it down to around 30 that might be worth processing.
Here's one (again of Ron's surviving roses) that caught my eye because of how nice the burgundy looked against the yellow...

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!
