Don, I used to have the original "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain", and if my deteriorating memory is correct I found it quite interesting and helpful.
Very nice photo, Lorell. We bought a new car a little over a year ago - it's a Toyota hybrid. Considering the high gas prices (and that the Big Oil companies will use any excuse to continue raising prices), it was a good choice at the right time. (We would have bought a plug-in, but the range of these at that time was a little too low.) And cutting down on our carbon footprint was a big factor in our decision. Since you're in Motor City, you may prefer American made cars; if so the various US automakers keep expanding their hybrid and plug-in options, and the range of either type has increased considerably.
Quint: Three Dog Night! I have a 50+ year old album or two, but nothing to play it/them on. Still, I remember "One Is the Loneliest Number", "Eli's Coming", "Shambala", "Celebrate", and my favorite - "Joy to the World". Go Jeremiah!
damar, it's a very pleasant 63F here at the moment, but it's only 06:15. Will probably peak at 83F in the shade and 88F or higher in the sun, plus high humidity by SoCal standards. I have some gardening chores to do (adding soil acidifier to a bunch of pots and sowing more seeds, in hopes that it's not too late in the year). So I'd better get this done early in the day.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!
