Hello from up north. We arrived safely at around 3 pm but was alerted by the campground office that serious and possible destructive weather was headed our way. In the warning was listed hail, high winds (70-80 mph) and possible tornado. We sat around here for another hour looking at weather maps, warnings, etc. When we started to hear thunder rumbling in the distance, I decided that this is the last place I wanted to be if any of storm predictions comes through our trailer park. So, We got in the car and 30 minutes later we were checking in at a Country Inn Suites hotel in Big Rapids , Mi. I was very relieved and relaxed and feeling safe.
It appears that the storms never touched down here or even at the hotel. We had a good laugh this morning though and will add it to another fun memory.
Thanks, Dave, for the interesting but perky looking start to our Tuesday daily.
It reminds me of a skinny ballerina with a tutu on.
Got to see if I can figure a way to post photos small enough in size from my photo to here.
Till later,
Lorell
