Yes, things have certainly changed.
I look at your quote, "Happiness simply is". Maybe so, but there seems to be less of it surrounding us.
Unfortunately, people have gotten used to being isolated and disconnected, we need to mend the fences and bring people back together.

Lorell, happiness is already there within each and everyone of us. We cannot afford to allow the surroundings to affect our acceptance of happiness. We do need to impart to those others, that all they need to do is look within rather than without.
