Missing a few days on the forum. Must be the heat. Cooling off for us by Thursday as we transition into fall.
Here is a Cobra that a friend brought to church yesterday. He restores Mustangs for a living. He and his wife are celebrating their birthdays in October. I will make a BD card for them with the photo. I embellished it with a couple of reflections.
Very fine photo - nice job of adding believable reflections.
Like many males my age, as a child I enjoyed building models (remember Revell kits?), and one of my favorites was a Shelby modified Mustang that was white with Royal Blue accents. As I remember, the actual car was something of a death trap since gas tanks (maybe additional ones or maybe the standard ones) surrounded the passenger compartment.
Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Nice car Rich! I remember when I was in Air Traffic Control school a fellow student had a Cobra. He had to get folks to push him off to get started... apparently it didn't have a starter. Not what I would want.
Don't know about everyone else, but I just haven't been inspired lately to do any photography. I did ride my Spyder up the road to a park on the river this morning since today is the first day in a while that wasn't rainy. Temp was just right for riding and humidity was around 60%. I had my P&S with me.

Thanks Dave. The bright spot was on the chrome all I did was add the starburst.
I was big into model car building too! Did not know about the gas tanks!
Thanks Don. No starter? That would be strange. Maybe he couldn't afford the repair.
A very relaxing rest stop you found. That might be a good stream for fly fishing! Beautiful Spyder!

Could very well have been that Rich. We were all junior enlisted (E3 or E2) so money was scarce. I just remember him having to find guys to push him off. Not very convenient.
