Hey there, Hi there, Howdy Ho,
Can you tell that I am feeling rested?
Not because I had a good night sleep, but just because I have been sitting around the last few days and enjoying the cooler temps and sunshine in the skies.

The trees are starting to change colors around here.  Looking forward to getting some nice autumn leave images.

In the meantime, I will use the one below that I found in my archives last night while looking for something to add to our current Selective Color challenge.

Lovely assortment Lorell.
The opposite season here. Spring is sproinging everywhere.
These are new branches forming on the umbrella wattle. You should be able to discern the tiny leaves on their way to aduthood.

Lorell, Yummy looking peppers and lemons! Now I want some lemonade!! So glad you are rested! Cooler here for a few days, too. Feels very good after all the summer heat and drought. Got a tiny bit of rain yesterday.
Peter, Odd to think you're into the beginnings of spring!! I can see the tender leaves! Nice bokeh.

Very nice, Peter. So many interesting plants you have. I especially like the spider !! My problem around here is there are so many weed seeds and grasses, everything in s lot of work IF it can be saved.....My daughter planted wildflowers in the field, and they are there, but the weeds took over. 5' high pigweed, velvet leaf, dock, pokeweed. And worse than all is the wiregrass, impossible to stop....unless you kill everything for a couple of years. So.....I cut grass. At least it keeps everything neat. We had an exchange student one year from Germany. He was amused that everyone cut grass in the US, at least once a week. He said they hardly ever see anyone mowing. He showed some photos and the ground was either bare or had some short grasses and weeds. NOT here around me. Meadows that don't get mowed grow into forests in just a few years. Some pines, maples, oaks, wild cherry but what takes over are the gum trees. And now the Bradford Pears....they were imported and were thought to be non producers of seeds, yet they are everywhere. Very invasive.
End of story.....sorry.....LOL!

When it rains the weeds grow.
When it doesn't rain the weeds burn.
