A day lily taken a few days ago in the parking lot of a small local mall...



This is my favorite variety of  a Day Lily - I love the colors.

Well Friday was my birthday, so The Day Lily was a good choice because I am fond of day lilies and of the colour in Dave's image. Had a collection of them from my mother's garden and my wife's grandmothers. However, one day the department of Ag came around spraying backyard fruit trees for Queensland fruit fly when I wasn't there. The spray they used can and did kill all my day lilies. Haven't had any since.. Now you have reminded me, I could try again.

Have been away with my daughter and her family. Have many photos to sort, as per usual.
