OMG, it is practically the middle of the month!
Geez, how does that happen?
I know you have seen photos of this wind twirler in our backyard, but I am not sure if I ever posted one from the wintertime.
Have a good start to your week my FOTO friends.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your rose.
That rise is so alive and beautiful.
Great work, Dave.

PS. Nice framing effect too.
Lorell, after reading your first sentence I thought - good, I'm gonna get some valuable advice from a photographer I admire on how I can improve.
Thank you for your very kind words.
MFI and Rich, thank you for seconding and thirding (is that a word?) Lorell's thoughts.
Rich, that's a very good photo. I think the delicate branches work well with the softness and lovely color of the sky, Nice that some of the limbs appear in front of the moon, which shows good detail.
Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

There was an English teacher who studied entomology at the high school where I worked as a math teacher and then a counselor.
He was also a very funny person. We had three lunch periods during our school day because we had so many students, over 2,000, in our building.
I mention this because students as well as teachers never knew when our lunch period would be, Lunch A, B, or C. I was always happy when I discovered that MILES, the funny English teacher, had lunch the same period as me because I knew that I would be in for a few laughs every day at lunchtime including interesting facts about words and other things.
Word origins are so interesting, like the word Maudlin.
PS. I never heard the word THIRDING . Why did you post that word?
