The July camera club meeting was cancelled, due to inclement weather. However, the projected images were judged remotely, and the results made available.

Here are four of my submissions. The set-subject was Macro.

Waiting Watching

All good. Top photos as usual. If I had enough wall space, I'd buy some.

Thanks Peter. I was wondering if someone might spot these.

(I am not into selling my images, by the way. Years ago, I decided that trying to commercialize my hobby was not a good idea. Strictly avoided.)

Yes. I did the same.
Photography was an extremely expensive hobby in the days of film. One needed to make a decision, do I do three weddings a Saturday and work for a newspaper or have a studio and do portraits?
or just pretend to be David Attenborough's photographer?

Our August camera club meeting was held yesterday. It included the prints from July, which could not be judged due to the physical meeting being cancelled.

Peter, Inspiring work, all of the above!

I especially like the diversity of your subjects in the Power of the Perspective shots as well as the quality, treatment, and interest.
I have to come up with one more NATURE shot for my club meeting tomorrow evening and I wonder if I could use your "cactus flower" macro image as inspiration. Well done, Peter.

Pete, you have an awesome POV eye.
Your work is worth hanging in art galleries.

Thanks for the comments folks.

Lorell - Yes, it looks as though I got the date wrong yesterday. We'll put it down to old age! As far as inspiration goes, feel free to use any of my images. Also, although I'm not much of a communicator, I am always willing and enthusiastic about assisting fellow photographers/ image editors if they need help. Just send a PM. (However, don't ask me to critique anything! I refuse to sit in judgement on the work of others. Your judgement is your own, and it is not my place to question it.)

Peter - My work only appears in galleries when the camera club insists that we support some exhibition. If we are allowed to add a price tag, I always say "not for sale".
