[Don]

Street shot in Kilkenny, Ireland.

[Dave]

I like it Don.

Delicately subdued values and a great composition. It's an everyday moment that seems to capture the personality of urban Ireland. Very nicely done.

In contrast, my floral macro (taken 2 mornings ago) was an attempt to capture the effect of the intense light of the morning "golden hour" on a richly colored Day Lily...

[Man From Ironbark]

Don, Is that man playing a harp?

Dave, I do like your interpretaion of the day lily

[Rich]

Don, good choice to make this a B&W. Looks like he is lighting a smoke or as Peter said playing a harmonica. Well composed!

Dave, awesome, you have captured the golden light! What a great shot for Corporate America to buy for their building waiting rooms.

[Dave]

Thanks MFI and Rich.

[Don]

Peter, it would have been cool if he had been playing a harp, but he was only lighting a cigarette. Seemed to be lots more smokers in Ireland and Scotland than here, but then again I don't get out too much these days.
