TGIF, friends.

Here's one taken in my front yard on March 26 of 2020, newly cropped and processed...

I wish us all a safe, happy, and productive weekend.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Beautiful Dave, awesome capture and exposure! I have a watercolor painting I did of a Monarch on a cone flower. I made sympathy cards of it with a verse inside. This would make a great sympathy card!

Thank you Rich.

Good idea.

I have several versions of a Monarch on a Blanket Fower that I could use for the same purpose.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

It's fun to get an older picture and redo it after thinking through what you want it to newly look like.
Great job with that, Dave!
Good morning, Rich.

Hi Steve!

Dang, I put the photo I wanted to use in the Thursday thread so here is the substitute. A fun road to drive in Vanocker Canyon, Black Hills.

Rich, these are the kind of roads I like to drive my Miata on.

I would like that road in my 15 year old VW hardtop convertible Eos

It is a fun road for a road bike.
Love your monarch on the yellow, Dave.
It is really Saturday eve here but I'll leave you with a bit of Friday's sunset.

It is a real privilege to know you planted your own sunset photographs from seed.
Who said I couldn't sit in the shade of a tree I planted?
Happiness simply is.
There need be no pursuit.

Dave, I love this monarch shot. Good composition and great color!
Hi, Rich! Oh, I love the curvy road! Leads me nicely into the diagonals of the forests!
Hi, Steve!
Hi, Grant!
Peter, that is an awesome sunset! The tree silhouettes are a wonderful foreground. Wonderful!

Peter , yes many bikes on it during the Sturgis Rally. Awesome sunset, they must be fast growing trees!

Thanks Natalie! Going to start on your bluebird soon!
