How cool is that? And nicely photographed, as always.

YAY! No rain today, and none until possibly the weekend.

The morning sun illuminated some potted succulents in our inner front yard this morning; here is one...

Lovely light and I like the creative side crop.

Thanks for the April Fools message, Lorell!! What an interesting device....can't imagine communicating that way....Nice shot!
Dave, great color on that succulent! I, too, like your crop.....well done!

[Dave]

Thanks Lorell & Natalie.

Actually the binary system we are communicating on now is not a lot different, in that it is still a series of dots and dashes.
Echoing Lorell's and Natalie's sentiments on your succulent image, Dave.

[Rich]

Lorell, that looks very similar to the one I used as a Ham radio operator. I did love the morse code work! I think Don probably used one too.
Well photographed! Hope you had a prank free "April Fools" day!

Dave, love the lighting and presentation on this one!
We are in for a rainy and windy weekend. Predicting 52 MPH wind gusts for Saturday!

Greetings Natalie and Peter.

[Dave]

Thanks Rich.

Unpleasant conditions; whatever the temps will be, it'll feel a lot colder with gusts topping 50 mph.

We had a little rain overnight and today (Friday) but it seems to over. A bit cold though by SoCal standards.

[Dave]

Thanks NFI.

You have been missed.
