Hi all,
Before I go out to meet with a friend for lunch, I thought I would drop in to start Wednesday's thread.

I call it "PHOTO BOMB".
Hope your day is going well,
LORELL

Yeah, you definitely got photo-bombed.

I hope you and your friend had a pleasant lunch.

One of the succulents in our outer front yard, taken 6 days ago on a gloomy morning...

I'm eagerly awaiting delivery of: 1) a garden hose reel that will hold a hose long enough to reach the entire front yard; and 2) my order of seeds from Burpee for my spring planting (hope springs eternal, defying my usually poor results) - I have several types of tomatoes, and peppers ranging from mild to scorching on the Scoville scale.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Good morning.
That's a bird bomber all right! Nice closeup of it, Lorell.
I love that leaf with droplets, Dave.

Here's a shot I took recently of our lovely Trask River valley about a mile from home.

That is a funny one Lorell, good title!

Dave, A really good angle and COI!

Here are a couple of shots from the Palace yesterday. As I was wandering around down there, a couple were taking turns standing next to our mascot Cornelius for a photo. I said I would take their photo if they wanted to be together. They said great. When I got done the man said, boy, the people in this town are sure friendly. More of a statement for the town, not of me. We are a helpful lot here! I will take a photo of Cornelius next time I am down there.
I am just a-maized by the little house on the prairie mural. so colorful.

Hello again, Dave, Rich and Quint.
You posted a nice assortment of interesting photos ranging from the macro to the vast landscape and a few in between.

Dave, the overhead light made it possible to get the crystal-looking water droplets without them being blown out by the sun. Great mood.
Quint, Snow in the mountains; you sure don't have to go far to capture gorgeous views like that.
Rich, You do have a nice town, we learned that through the many photos you shared with us over the years.  The little house on the prairie would probably be one of my favorites too. Looking forward to seeing more shots of the corn murals.

Well, tomorrow night our club is getting together to take photographs of "set-ups".  I still have not come up with anything interesting that I wish to bring.  I even looked in photo magazines for "photo Projects" but a lot of them need water. So, I may be arriving empty-handed.  I wish I could think of something.

this might be an idea.  But I have to spend some time seeing if I can pull it off first.  I cannot even think of a mirror that I have in the house that I could use.

Hello all. Nice photo bomb of the Great Blue Heron Lorell. Perfect timing.

Nice image Dave, almost abstract. I also like the chosen color of the mat. I haven't played with changing colors on the mat, need to try that.

Great work on the Little House there Rich.

Nice view Quint. We don't get those views in the S.E. U.S.

Thanks Quint.  Yours is a classic photo that's got it all: snow on blue mountains, green growth, and red building look great.

Thanks Rich. I continue to be impressed with the artistry of the corn muralists, and of your skill at photographing their work.

Thank you Don. Praise from the master is especially sweet.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Steve, we must have posted close together as I missed your beautiful mountain vista! What a view to see everyday!

Thanks Lorell! The murals this year are all of famous South Dakotans. I will post them all one at a time. The mirror photo is really interesting. Hope it worked out for you!

Thanks Don and Dave!
