[Dave]

Good day to all.

A common flower here in SoCal and a favorite subject for me is the misnamed African Lily (a misnomer because it's not a lily). This one was taken three mornings ago...

Greetings!
A beautiful photo Dave, composition, DOF and presentation are spot on!

We had 50 degrees yesterday and a snow shower this morning. Not a big snow, mostly gone already. We call it a nuisance snow.

Here is one I may have posted before. Taken at the Pella Iowa tulip festival many years ago. My EXIF data says 2009.

Thank you Rich. The light was very good, and the image turned out to have better clarity than usual and a much better DoF and sharpness on the COI than I usually manage with this flower. I was lucky.

I don't remember that photo. A white tulip - I didn't know they came in white, and it's a neat look. The wonderful softness in your capture combines with the perfect amount of restrained sharpness here and there to make a winner of an image. Well done!

Thanks Dave, I have an 11 x 14 print matted and framed.

Love both white florals against the nice soft backgrounds!

Thanks Natalie!
