[Dreamin]

Hi, all. Been a while. It's been a long year for me.....I'll try to poke my nose in and occasionally post.....hope all are well....?
I haven't taken out the cameras in a long while...... but the other day I looked out the window and saw a bird I have been trying to take a photo for a long time, the pileated woodpecker. He was right there, but I was afraid he would fly off while I ran to find a camera, find a memory stick, find a batter that had a charge.....and run back to the window. He was still there, and I got one decent shot through the glass before he flew off. I was thrilled to add this bird to my bird files.

Hi, Nat. Good to see you're still around. I don't post much now either.

Nice woodpecker shot.

Yes. Great to see Natalie back with a great bird shot I'm never going to be able to get.

Hi Natalie. It is wonderful to see you here Again.

I think most people after a long time away from the camera would have lost a step or two - but not you!

Your composition, values, and exposure are as good as ever. And the sharpness is admirable even through a window.

I can imagine what a thrill it was to nail a first-ever-photograph. My photography bucket list i quite long.

Welcome back Natalie! What a great woodpecker shot, stunning! A beautiful bird. Luck was on your side!

Not only did Natalie return, but she started a thread and included an awesome photo to boot.
Yay, Natalie.
Good to see you and that’t one fine capture.
