#1
I thought nobody's posting anyway and it is Saturday here. So by the time it gets to Saturday there, someone may be reading.

Heres another of my "here be dragons" posts.

It is officially my third day of summer but it hasn't actually happened yet. Probably because we are still under the influence of the Indian Ocean Dipole but that will end shortly and we will then be under a full blown El Nino. Which is touted to last into 2025. Not looking dorward to that.

I'm sorry to hear that you are dreading the rough weather ahead for both of you.
Grant, you have extreme colds and lots of snow.
Peter, you have extreme heat and no rain.
Neither are conditions that I would do well in these days.

I am enjoying both of your images.
Thanks for starting the weekender for us Peter.  Your dragon seems to be smiling. It should be. It has a comfortable safe place to dwell in your backyard.
Grant, Geez, that looks cold.  The snow is caked on so thick.  I bet it was crunching under your feet when you walked out there to take this photo.

Yesterday I went with the photo club to photograph the POLAR EXPRESS train for the third time.  I think it will be the last time for me as I didn't bring home anything special from the trip, with regards to photographs.  And it is starting to get tough to keep up with some of the new younger members in our club.  It was still a fun time. I have not downloaded my photos yet, so for now, here is a photo taken at another club event where we set up still-life items and photographed them.

Post-processing was done in Dynamic Painter and I used this photo for today's FLICKR SUNDAY SLIDERS group challenge.
Have a blessed day, everyone.

That's nice and arty, Lorell. The drill bits look well used and worn.

As for the dragons. My yard has several who all keep to their own patch until breeding time.
.. and of course after breeding time, come the babies.
This taken with wife's phone.
