Thursday is unappreciated – it needs and identity.

Monday starts the work week; I call it OSIM. Tuesday is Taco Tuesday, Wednesday in Hump Day, and Friday is TGIF.

But poor Thursday is left out.

Well, this is discouraging.

I'm not saying this because nobody commented on my mediocre photo.

I'm saddened that the level of participation is so dismally low that it's clearly not worth keeping this website active,

They are all too busy on facebook or eX twitter.

Hi MFI. I hope you are doing well.

Facebook & Twitter - I never have and never will be interested. IMHO it's a huge waste of time by people who have deluded themselves into believing that their lives are so fascinating that the entire world must be interested in every detail.

Second, I loathe the business model: gathering every last detail of our personal information and then either selling it or using it to deliver annoying ads is reprehensible.

Re: FB - I do have a FB page but few "friends" and I know each one. Mostly either photographer friends or musician friends. I don't understand when people have 4 or 5 thousand "friends". Or when I get a friend request from a friend of a friend and I don't know that person. Anyway...

Yes, participation is very low, and has been for a while, but we currently only have 12 members not counting Admin. One of those 12 has not posted since June 6 and another has 6 posts since we started and hasn't posted since Aug 29 so really can't be counted as members.

Likewise, I have a non twitter or facebook life. It is real and I do get face to face time with real people.
