Good morning all and happy hump day. Note to all: If you are renewing passports, remember to enclose payment or they will send it back unprocessed.
Yes, I did that...
Yesterday was actually a day without rain, at least until dark when we got .77 inches. So I was able to get in a nice 2 hour motorcycle ride. I rode mostly random county roads although I did stop at Dowdell Knob in FDR State Park - this was a favorite spot of president F.D. Roosevelt. They even have a statue of him there.

Sounds like it was a pleasant ride, Don. And you returned with some nice photos.
I've always liked trying to photograph squirrels. I admire their cocky "in your face" attitude, but hate how they usually scurry to the other side of the tree, making photos impossible.
This youngster (photographed about 90 minutes ago) seemed more curious than skittish, and he/she posed nicely for me...
Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Back from Iceland Don. I see you aren't slowing down on enjoying a ride or your photography.
Sure did pose for you. Nicely captured Dave.
Similarly here, the bearded dragons do that too. Scamper around to the other side of the tree. Ha ha you can't see me now.
I've been mucking about doing silly stuff with images.
I could put it in a what'zit thead but it is a long way from the original and likely nobody could guess where it started.
Peter, are you going to tell us what it is? Now I am curious.
Don, I keep in touch with Patty. She says that she has had rain EVERYDAY. It dips just the opposite here, everything Is burning up. Thank goodness the nights are cool though. Looks like you avoided some rain on your road trip looking at the scary clouds in the background.
Dave, a sweet shot of the squirrel. The framing of it in this photo makes it a good one.

Lorell. I am glad to have intrigued you.
It is just a bit of pkaying with filters and layers.
It started with the fact that I've given all my beekeeping to a friend and he brought me a jar of honey but wanted his jar back.
So I tipped it into one of my jars.
As it was taking a long time to drain the last bits I decided to try and photograph that. The shots didn't come out as well as I would have hoped. Low light low shutterspeed and all that.
So I decided, won't hurt to try and improve them but all my efforts turned to muck and that is what you see here.
So yes, they are drizzles of honey on drugs.
Nice photo of the squirrel Dave and the square format suits it.
Nope, never would have guessed what that was Peter.
"Don, I keep in touch with Patty. She says that she has had rain EVERYDAY. It dips just the opposite here, everything Is burning up." Yep, rainy day after rainy day. I really want to go camping on my motorcycle again but not when it is storming. Speaking of Patty, it has been almost 5 months since she checked in so I have to "assume" that she will not be returning. Too bad as she always had interesting posts. I have deleted most accounts that are no longer active but so far I have left hers.
