Thanks for sharing your  Iceland trip with us, Don. Two impressions after viewing your photos: 1) Everything seems so clean; and 2) The restaurants care about the visual presentation of the meals.

My routine Sunday morning walk (to get coffee, the Sunday paper, and maybe pick up some things at the grocers) was interesting. As I neared the small shopping mall I noticed a young guy talking to himself, wandering erratically, kicking at pillars and curbs, and shouting out indecipherable things. He followed me closely as I continued towards the other end of the mall. I entered the grocers and he was right behind me, gesturing wildly and still talking (either to himself or to me). I alerted the store manager (who later told me they've had regular problems with him). He followed me through the aisles for a while but eventually left. These days I'm aware of two situations in the USA that when considered together are cause for concern: 1) increasing numbers of people suffering with mental disorders; and 2) the easy access to guns. IMO That's an alarming combination.

But it ended without a confrontation. He was still in the mall when I started walking home, but far away.

No good photo ops presented themselves on my walk. As I neared home I noticed a small rabbit in a yard and slowly moved to a position for some shots but it was still a bit dark and I couldn't get too close to the rabbit, so I'm not expecting much from the shots.

Here's a shot from our inner yard from 3 days ago of some red leaves that were nicely positioned in front of two values of greens...

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Peter, thanks for showing us more of the Australian countryside!

Don, interesting food shots! I think they use those steps a lot in the UK. WoW, food price is really high there for the modest breakfast you got! Lots of sauce on the trout!

Dave, another well shot and presented photo! I like the double mat with the inner slice of red showing.

Laast month I posted a bird watercolor painting. Don't know if anyone saw it, if not here is the link. https://www.fotofriends.net/showthread.p...87#pid6087
