Good morning all - it's a little after 3 AM here. So, while I am up I decided to post a photo of the Eurasian Oystercatcher. The Eurasion bird looks a lot like our American Oystercatcher but they are 2 different species.

I realize I have been remiss on commenting on photos postes. I do look at all the posts but don't always comment.I'll try to catch up with at least this weeks posts.
Lorell, I liked the ship image you posted a few days ago. The vignetting worked well. Your lighthouse is well composed I think, and the walking man on the right balances it out nicely.
Nice little white Iris there Dave with the water droplets on it. And the pink rose is another classic. Ah weeds. I probably take as many photos of weeds as I do of "regular" flowers. I can relate to the RV maintenance shot. Been there, done that.
I remember seeing the "Frankmobile" somewhere in my past but it has been a long time ago.
Peter, some very dramatic looking skies there. Nice. And interesting shot of the Eucalyptus.
I'll post a few more from Iceland. One of our lodgings was right on a lake. Here is DW walking the path near the lake. The next shots are of one of the churches we saw and the last is a rainbow captured near one of the waterfalls.

Dave, great shot.
As matter of fact, I was going to suggest at the last local photo club meeting that a new special assignment topic could me "men at work". This would have worked perfectly. Way to be camera ready and be able to grab this image with a story.
Don, It is fun to see some of the highlights of your trip. The rainbow looks like it was HUGE and really strong in color. I like the red roof church, nothing beats a flash of red in an otherwise low color photo, and I like the person on the trail. You can tell it was a chilly morning.
And thanks, DON, for going back and leaving a comment or two on our photos. We tried to keep things going while you were gone.
