Greetings all!
Looking through some travel photos and ran across this one. Talen in Myrtle Beach, SC at a sculpture park. As I was processing this I thought, gee, this would make a great place to have a wedding. Then the photographer in me took over and said, well.....maybe not. The shadows would be a nightmare to handle. The contrast too! You can see my depth of focus (DOF) is really shallow.
Apologies for my absence that past couple of days days; I ate something that caused unpleasant intestinal distress - I'm guessing it was some left-over blue cheese that passed its "safe to consume" date.
Consequently, my photo outings have been limited, so here's one from 4 days ago...
Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Hi boys. Good to see you both this morning. Thanks for the lovely images.
I did not make it to swim this morning, I had a tough night with the dog who must have had an upset stomach. I am a little worried about her. I ended up falling to sleep at around five and then getting up to wash some carpeting. Yep, it was one of those nights. So, I think there is a nap just around the corner after I finish posting my addition to your lovely park setting, Rich, and a pretty close-up of the rosy bougainvilleas, Dave. DAve, sounds like you spent a lot of time on the couch the last few days. Glad that you are feeling better.
I think that would be a beautiful setting for a wedding, Rich. And I bet it is busy on the weekends. The photo from the park where I took this shot is a favorite for wedding shots. To use the gardens you have to reserve a time at the Parks and Rec office that is adjacent to the park. The park is that busy with bridal parties. I have even stolen some shots of the happy couple.
Have a good day all. I think I will go see what SCOTT KELBY's GRID topic is today. Maybe I will learn something or be inspired.
Lorell. Sorry about your tough night. I hope your beloved dog is OK. Our Pippin is definitely in old age, and he's been diagnosed with a failing heart. So each moment spent with him now is special.
Very nice photo. You compose or crop your photos exceptionally well - your CO is always in an ideal spot.
Thanks for mentioning Scott Kelby; I'll have to Google his name + GRID to see what that's about - it sounds like maybe he has a website and posts advice and/or tutorials on different topics.
I didn't get much couch time; spent more time on the porcelain throne than on the couch.
Gotta run - I need to get back into walking more than I've managed lately, plus I want to redeem a $75 scratcher winner.
Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!
