TGIF everyone. I hope it's a great weekend for all of us.

It's been a good day so far, in spite of two very early telemarketing/phishing phone calls; I won $100 on a Lotto scratcher with my $10 change at the grocers, then got some decent photos on the walk back home. Here's one...

Autumn is probably my favourite time of year here. Spring is great too but autumn is more stable. Today is 12˚C to 21˚C, clear and sunny but not hot.

The white-winged chough (Corcorax melanorhamphos) is one of only two surviving members of the Australian mud-nest builders family, Corcoracidae, and is the only member of the genus Corcorax. It is native to southern and eastern Australia and is an example of convergent evolution as it is only distantly related to the European choughs that it closely resembles in shape, and for which it was named.
