Wow, it is amazing how all of those raindrops adhered to that beautiful yellow rose. There are so many droplets..
Very nice, Dave. Well, I worked on this photo of a geranium-filled wagon. There were all kinds of thing that I removed from it, like white plastic chairs on the right and a huge picture window in the back. But I liked this old wagon fill with flowers that actually looked out of place on a side of a old resort rental. Somebody must have been watering those flowers or they would have never lasted in the heat or bright sunlight. This was the best that I could do to salvage this shot. But I liked the wagon and decided it was worth the 20 minutes to clean it up. Have a good day all.
Dave, very dramatic with the black BG and the droplets!
Back in the film days I used to carry a small water spray bottle with a few drops of glycerin added. Worked great for droplets on a hot summer day! Lorell, your manip skills paid off! Well done and a good save! Could be somewhere in Italy! No flowers from me but here is a yellow hot rod in front of the Palace!

Rich, that is sweet and colorful.
You wouldn't get away with going over the speed limit if you were driving in a car painted with that color. Thanks, Rich, for the comment. I wish I were clever enough to think of other images I could combine with this one to make it look more complete.

Hi Lorell and Rich, and thanks.
Lorell, you are very good at using texture to enhance your photos and create the mood or atmosphere you see in your brain. Rich, your love of primo old cars shows in your photographs. That is one fine looking yellow beauty. And the white one behind it looks pretty darn good too. When I examined my photo in my image viewer before posting I saw variation of values and forms in the background - just what I wanted. So I am disappointed that when posted the background appears starkly black and featureless. Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him! Nikon D7500 with Nikkor 18-300 mm; PSE2021, PSCS5 Ny Flickr Albums

A beautiful wet yellow rose, a dry yellow rod and an iron wheeled cart full of red pelargoniums.
What a way to start the day.
Happiness simply is.
There need be no pursuit. |
