Hello all, and Happy Wednesday.
Nothing new from here except I am glad that we are not a part of the big ice storm making its way back home.
After Grant posted the colorful images of his ice-frosted window, I decided to have some fun of my own.

Yes, Lorell, it's a good time for you to be vacationing away from Michigan.

Your image (which I really like) is slightly moody and somehow mysterious. If I had to guess, I'd say you applied some sort of swirly distortion effect and wisely chose to use it at far less than 100% strength.

Just a simple little shot from the front yard of white Alyssium and some variety of yellow blossoms. I think those yellow blossoms help the image, and I really like the thin curving tendril at lower right.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Lorell, I like your manipulation of a very nice scene....Hope you are enjoying your holiday!!
Dave, I like your framed image of the allysium....yes, that touch of yellow adds interest.
Supposed to be near 80° on Thursday, and then snow flurries on Saturday....strange......

Nothing new from me.....this is from 2009....a little sharpen and crop.....

Well, I fully intended to post a photo today but got involved with other things. Thought this would be a looong day due to our blizzard and 8-15 inches of snow today and tomorrow but wasn't.

Lorell, love the manip! The entrance to the walkway is very inviting, well composed. Sunburst adds interest!

Dave, you speak flower-esse which I know not of but I agree with you! Well composed and exposed!

Natalie, I am not a birder either, is it a sandpiper? I really think the blurred BG makes the bird pop! Love it!
Focus on what brings you joy! ~Unknown~

Nice you three.
We still have 5 foot snow banks. We are -30° C at night.
Another playful Frost scene
