Good morning to all. Didn't want another day to pass without a Daily so I managed to find one more image from the last trip to share.

Got news a couple of days ago that our travel trailer is ready for pickup, so we will be traveling to Knoxville next week to get it. Knoxville is just far enough away that we don't want to try to do it in one day, so we will go up one day and stay in a nearby hotel, then get an early start back  home the next.

I met a friend yesterday afternoon (the one I went to Kerrville with) for a couple of margaritas and to catch up on news. He is going to be heading to Colorado in a couple of weeks to their condo in Telluride to ski for a few weeks. It was good to catch up.

Here is one more shroom from the trip I mentioned. What caught my eye was the little fuzzy growth just to the right. Not sure what that was.

What drew my eye in your photo (which I really like, BTW) is the beautiful satiny surface of the mushroom cap.

Dave, lovely soft pastel colors. Good composition, focus, and interest! Dew drops really add to the feel of it.

Another winter blast coming tonight through Saturday morning. 15 below temps with a 40-50 below zero wind chill. Maybe a little snow too.
