Hello to All,
Don't want to let this weekend go by without a daily.
I will be busy all day searching through photos, looking for ones that are good enough to include in the 20 images we have been asked to share for our local Photo club's Christmas party that is will be this Thursday.  So, far, I have a total of 8 that I will be sharing.  Since I have not taken many photos lately, the pickin's are slim.

Here is one that I may include in my bundle.  The intensity of the colors was done on purpose.
Have a blessed Sunday,

LORELL

Hi Lorell. Thanks for starting the (now one-day) weekend Daily.

Your intentionally amped up selective colors look completely natural and great.

Here's another one from March 2017 that I never did anything with...

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Greetings All!
I have been pretty lax lately but I do check the photos out each day. Loving the yellow flowers Dave.
Peter, fly closeup amazing.

Lorell, colors remind me of Fuji or Kodachrome slides. You showed restraint in the saturation by stopping at the right point.

Not a whole lot to take photos of with a white covering everywhere. Saw a couple of Christmas light displays I need to get photos of. Maybe tonight before the storm hits. Big winter storm hitting us Monday through Thursday. We will hopefully get mostly rain but others in the central part of the state forecast for 12 inches.

Here is the Chrysler Building in NYC taken in 2004 from the Empire State Building. A little sepia tone.

Smile good to see some of you back from your busy lives.
Lorell's photo makes me think of the Dr Who episode, "Don't Blink". Wink

Yes, I was attempting to prove that apart from Australia's couple of thousand native bees, our flies of all types and wasps are equally if not more important pollinators than bees, native or imported.
I have documented carrion flies, blowflies, parasitic flies, hover flies and others doing more pollination than the odd passing bee.

The plant in these photos is parsley.

Geez, Peter, I did not know that fries pollinated . I wonder why I never learned that. Today flies and the one from Friday ( I think) are super macro shots.

Rich, I will have to check our weather report. I wonder if your storm will be headed our way. Wow, that is a lot of snow to deal with. For some reason, the cold is effecting me more this year when I go outside. Maybe I should start wearing a winter coat.

Rich, your photo looks older than 18 years. I think it is the sepia treatment that has me fooled.

Dave, you keep digging up those gorgeous flowers from your archives. All blooms are a welcome site right now, including that fragile looking yellow beauty.

Thanks fir the positive gap feedback all.

Funny typo, Lorell...

So what happens when "fries" pollinate?

I suppose you end up with Tater Tots.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!
