Hi Everyone!
Well we got almost an inch of rainfall last night; we needed it.
You can see how low this lake level is by the banks.
It's a TVA 3300 acre reservoir; 1925 Blue Ridge Dam (hydroelectric) Fannin County, GA
Good Morning, Patty.
Yes, the water level looks really low. That is a nice big lake from the looks of it and this image is awesome with the banks on the right and the view of the mountains in the background. Were you on your cycles when you stopped to take this photo?
Good morning ladies. Yep, I can see the water is down Patty. I can also see a little Fall color starting to appear.
A nice bunch of Harley's there Lorell. I still haven't convinced DW that I need another bike in addition to the one I already have, but I continue to work on it now and then.
Speaking of Fall color, we are hoping that there is still some color in the mountains in a few weeks when we head up to the Smokies for the photo weekend.
We also looking to check an item off of our bucket list by visiting Iceland next year. Still in the planning stage though, so not a done deal.
Here is what the colors looked like last year near Cade's Cove. I also discovered a covered bridge in Gatlinburg that I hope we can check out this year.

Hi Lorell!
That is a comfy looking saddle on the Harley! Lot’s of flags; American Legion?
I like the angle you used.
No, we drove up in the Sequoia (toyota). Don would cringe to hear me say this but I hate riding up in the mountains on motorcycles.
Sharp turns, switchbacks, loose gravel and “performance drivers” going way too fast.
The problem with the mountains: no back roads. Just one road to connect point A to point B so in the fall tourist season there are a lot of cars. Not for me. It’s bad enough in a large vehicle!
Beautiful scene Don!

Greetings all!
Patty, Awesome shot of an awesome lake! Hugh! You definetly need lots of rain! Here we are thinking of a good amount of spring snow. That's the best for us as it melts fast and does the most good when the ground thaws. Like the Velvia look!
Lorell, I like your angle on this! Nice bikes!
Don, Pretty fall colors! In some areas of the Black Hills the fall colors turned white for a bit. Areas of snow in the higher elevations.
Here are some more bikes. Not as good a shot as Lorell's, but ya can't beat the background!
Patty, when I opened up the thread and saw your photo, I whispered, "WOW!" It all comes together, the blues, the water, the sand, the trees with peeping colors..the sky! Just beautiful!!
Lorell, that's a great perspective of the bikes!! I like the blurred vignette!!
Hi, Don! Can I tag along to Iceland? What a great trip that will be!! Love your colorful shot ...I hope there will be color when you travel to the mountains!!
Yes, great background for those bikes, Rich....Setting sun shadows and on Cornpalace.....really shows it off!!
Thanks Don, Rich and Natalie,
Rich, thats a nice lineup. I like the first bike on the right. I sure would like to get a closer look at it!
It almost looks vintage.
Nice photo and a nice town!
Aww Natalie! Another pretty face! Are they Corriedale?
Is your daughter selling shearings?
I used to buy whole sheared fleece up in NW Georgia, not graded. Right off the sheep.
I haven't done any spinning in a long time.
I've been in a photo slump - until yesterday I hadn't taken a single one in close to 2 weeks. Just have had a lot of other things that needed my attention and time.
Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!
