Good day all. Just a little glass wall.

Good morning Michael and any who follow. Thanks for starting the daily. Nice image to kick off the day with. I like the waviness of the glass, almost abstract. Well done.
Seems like it must be the time of the year for show and tell at the local camera clubs. Next Tue night is the Ga Nature Photographers Association local chapter meeting and on Nov 7 the Photopia club is also having a show and tell. I have a few photos for each. Here are some that I plan to share with one group of the other (different photos because for GNPA I stick with nature themed photos). I have probably posted these before. The wine bottles image is a scan of an old B&W image from around 1969 that I cleaned up quite a bit. I used the new Topaz PhotoAI app - it is pretty nice. The web image is from a previous trip to the Smoky Mountains I believe, and the sunset is from a trip to New Mexico. Weather was really nice yesterday after a day of rain and I wanted to go for a motorcycle ride, but I had raked leaves the day before and was feeling it. Still sore today a bit - this old body can't do what it could a few years ago.

Two posts, four very fine photos.
Michael, that's an eye-catching and satisfying capture. I like the touches of color, and how well you handled the composition by having the receding wall both darken and soften. Don, you demonstrated your versatility with these three photos. I'm particularly impressed by the amazing clarity of the top two images. It's still dark here and will probably remain overcast with a marine layer of clouds until mid-day, so I don't anticipate any photo ops until afternoon. Meanwhile, I resurrected my WhatIzIt? thread with a photo taken yesterday. Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him! Nikon D7500 with Nikkor 18-300 mm; PSE2021, PSCS5 Ny Flickr Albums

Hi, Michael....that's an interesting perspective and love the colors reflected. I can see faces, butterflies and birds in them. Don, three amazing photographs!! The sunset one is my favorite! Great starburst.....
Hi, Dave!!

TGIF. everyone.
I hope this weekend finds you all as happy and healthy as possible. Here's a spice/coffee grinder I bought earlier this week. I tried to challenge you folks in the WhatIzIt? thread with just the scoop; I'm showing it all disassembled here. At bottom left is the receptacle; middle is the grinder; and the scoop is at bottom right. It's quite small: the scoop is less than 3.5 inches long and the assembled grinder is less than 5 inches tall. A bit too small, but I'm sure I can learn to work with it. AHRRRRRRGGGGGHH>>> I have that mill, two actually, one in brass and one in silver. I didn't get little scoops, I am soooo jealous. I use mine for salt and pepper.
Don, three excellent shots. I really love the wine photo, though. There is a professional, yet rustic, feel to it. A very genuine photograph. Nice!

Thanks all. Yeah, I really like the wine photo as well... brings back good memories but I'm also pleased with how I was able to use modern software to salvage it. That negative is over 50 years old. I told DW last night that I think I might get it printed and put it in a frame.
