Well, this is it for August 2022!
I hope everyone is having a great week.

I have nothing new, so I pulled this out of my 2019 Archives.

Very nice, damar.

Shapes, lines, values, and a hint of mystery - you combined these into an intriguing photo.

No new photos from me either, so I also went through my archives; found this old image from when I experimented with Chaoscope, a fractal-like image generator. Tweaked it a little a few minutes ago...

It kinda reminded me of a Klein bottle.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Thanks, Patty for starting our hump day thread.
I like your view of the lantern in the upstairs window especially with the shadow of the neighbor's chimney on the house. I really like that upstairs balcony.  I could see myself sitting out their in the evenings reading a book.

Dave, cool fractal creation. I miss it too and can remember how much time I spent using that free software.  I think Deep Dream Generator software uses fractals and it allows you to create more realistic abstracts if that makes sense.  I do like that lime green spiral though.

I know that I shared a photo of the statue that stands at the foot of the central plaza in Downtown Detroit.  The statue overlooks the Detroit River.  But when we walked up to the statue a few weeks ago.  This is what we saw and this seagull would not leave.  So, it was time to embrace it and come back with a more interesting picture in my opinion.

Patty, yes, fall is in the air! I went for a bicycle ride this morning. Cooler temps and no wind!

Gee, I wonder what attracted you to this scene! Well seen and photographed!

Dave love this one, good colors and reminds me of a Cobra strike!

I agree Lorell, very interesting!
I don't see much evidence of a popular rest stop for our feathered friends or the city keeps them clean.
Maybe you did a little Photoshop "clean up."

Here is something different!

Hey, Rich, those stamps are really cool. Did you create that collage or is that a photo of the real thing? The pictures are current images of the corn palace. it is marvelous work.

Regarding my photo... no cleanup on the right shoulder, no clean-up on either shoulder. My friends were surprised by that too. The seagull would not go away no matter how many people gathered in front.

Thats a great shot, Lorell! The seagull just wanted to let you know that's HIS perch!
Cute!

I really like your stamps collage, Rich!
Bike ride....yes good to get out on a bike during a "no wind event" day in Mitchell, SD!

I'll go start the Thursday Daily!
