My PC is functional again. The problem was a bad power supply or its internal cable or both, so I installed replacements for both and let the PC stay on overnight. Looking successful so far.

Being without a PC gave me many free hours a day for other things that needed attention.

I took few photos during my down-time, but here's one of a rather stark color scheme for a nearby house. Stark it is, but the cacti add enough color to make the photo interesting (to me at least)...

Dave, Glad you got your PC fixed. And glad you had some free time to find this photo! Pretty darn awesome! Love it!

Here is one from a couple of blocks away from my place. Owner is a classic car builder so this is pretty natural for him.

Rich, Love the old gas pumps. Some time ago I posted in WC some old pumps set up for display in my  small town....I'll see if I can find them, reminded me of your shot....
Okay, I found this but I know I have one somewhere with the whole gas station which has been made into a visitor center......

That house looks very much like a couple I pass during walks in my neighborhood. But without the pumps, of course.

I'm old enough to remember seeing pumps like in Natalie's shots, but I think not quite old enough to have seen this in Rich's.
