Good day, fellow Foto Friends.

Early on July 4th morning Pippin was napping by the open front door, barely illuminated by diffuse pre-dawn light, and I thought this might be an opportunity for a moody shot or two

The first clicks of my camera woke him; here he displays one ear up and one ear down (the dog equivalent of bed-head ) as he groggily looked at me...

But he is a world-class sleeper and within seconds was back in dreamland...

Have yourselves a good day.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Greetings all!
Dave, I have been missing Pippin!
Quite a sleeper!

Had a Derecho come through late yesterday afternoon. Hurricane force winds and 2 inches of rain. No hail.

Here is about the coolest motorcycle (trike) I have seen!

Hi Dave & Rich,

Dave, That pooch is living the life. Just like my cats.

Rich, quite a nice looking ride. I've read many motorcycle travel books lately. Right now one about a couple touring Spain and Portugal on a Harley.

Here are two shots I took yesterday while walking out the "spit". First along the bay then down the beach. I walked five miles and never encountered another person walking or bicycling.

That's a neat looking stallion.

I've been a bit like Pippin of late.
Happiness simply is.
There need be no pursuit.

Steve, the Stallion would make a hit in Sturgis next month!
Walking out the spit must mean the water left from low tide.
Nice scenes, reminds of a wonderful time in Yachats.

Peter, it really is!

Rich,
That's the Bayocean spit on Tillamook Bay. It's accessible high or low tides and has quite a unique history. and yes, Yachats is another cute coastal community.

Dave, Pippin is as cute as ever....I don't blamehim for napping, it's been that kind of weather, wears one out!!
Rich, that IS cool! Is it a motorcycle? with car tires? A trike? costing $34,000.00.....? Oh, my! I love it!
Quint, that's a nice walk! So peaceful! Lucky you to have this all to yourself!
Hi, Peter!!
