Good Saturday, Morning......rainy and windy here....
I took a photo of my yard yesterday....seems I let the buttercups have a free hand......funny, bees are not that interested in the buttercups.
Ah, Natalie, that is a bright and pretty picture, especially with the red barn in the background. That is a wonderful eye-catching fill-the-frame composition. Delightful. This is a wonderful way to start our weekend.
I have been MIA the last few days. I was at the zoo on Thursday with my friends from the photo club. We walked four miles and I was really pooped after that.
I just read about Don's catastrophe. I was going to call it a mishap, but it is more than that. I sure do hope that things move faster than to be expected with the insurance company and repair shop. But during these times, I am sure he needs luck now to play a big part.
I got up early and gassed up my car at Sam's club and then headed to Home Depot to buy some mulch for my flower beds. So, I will spend some time today and tomorrow working outdoors. It looks like we are going to have a nice spring weekend.
Here is a polar bear hug for you all. Two photos from the ARTIC RING at the Detroit Zoo.
Hey Peter, the sky does look like it is on fire. Great poppin' colors
Rich, I would be meeting you every FIRST Friday night down there at the Corn Palace. Those cars are beautiful. You and I would have our own little photo club. Are there any food trucks in the area? A corn dog or coney sounds good. My treat! And it is so nice to see all those smiles on the people's faces. I won't take photos of people anymore with masks on. Now it absolutely ruins the image.
Well, I have waited a tad for the temps to warm up a bit before going out to work in the yard. But it is time for me to get to work.
Awesome bears, Lorell....I can feel the chill!!
Peter, that is some sunset! At first I thought it was a fire!! WOW!
Rich, they do spread, a LOT. Earlier all I had was dandelions. Now it's buttercups. Wonder what weed will bloom next? I gave up on grass. Thos two cars in the first photo are interesting. Yellow and White and the orange!......those can't be traditional colors....people do have some nice hobbies!!
Lorell, we have the same idea. I had started some cukes and some tomatoes and planted them out today....soft rain, cloudy, great day to put them out.

Thanks Lorell and Natalie for the comments! Sounds like you both have the gardening bug! Have fun and don't over do it!
Lorell, that would be a fun photo shoot. I sometimes see some of the old CC gang when down there but not this time.
Yes the food trucks were in the back of this photo to the right.
