Good morning all - looks to be a rainy day here in Georgia. The rain started a few minutes ago and will probably last all day, with a few T-storms to boot. After that, cooler weather. Thankfully it isn't supposed to get down to freezing temps though.

I have finished my Travel Binder, where I print out all the receipts, maps, pertinent information for longer camping trips, and store them in a 3 ring binder. When we arrive at a campground, I have all the reservation information handy if needed. Also has the campsite number in case there is no one at the office, which is often the case, so we just go on and set up. Eventually a ranger will come around to check.

I thought I would post a few more B&W pics of the covered bridge. Not much processing done on these, just for getting an idea of the construction.

Don, what a great idea, keeping that binder!  Thanks for the hint!  You must be a well organized person!!
Love the covered bridge.....looks like new reinforcements on the inside....glad they kept the outside vintage looking!!

Good morning, Don and Natalie, looks like we are off to a nice start. Thanks for starting our daily for us, Don. It is nice having things organized and in one place. I have piles of notes next to each table that I plant my butt, including my nightstand. The older I get, the less organized my head is and I have to write stuff down continuously. It is a good thing that I retired when I did. Things seem to have become too complicated since the onset of computers. It is like Natalie said the other day, it was easier to work on a car way back when than it is now. And think about it. The purpose of a car is to get from point A to point B but you can't even change a battery or turn signal on your own car these days.

I guess I don't mind that cameras have gotten more complicated. I like all the things they can do for us. But then again, I look at your images, Don, and cherish the simple clean lines and composition that your vintage cameras capture as well as the B&W film.

Natalie, I don't think a more fragrant flower exists than a Hyacinth. They always remind me of my mom. She loved buying one and letting it sprout in the house because of the wonderful smell. I cannot do that in my house since my husband has an extraordinarily sensitive nose. But they are a precious loom and your purple one has such a deep rich color.

Well, I have to go check, the What is it challenge.
See you all in a bit when I can find a photo to share.

PS. Yesterday's daily was wonderful. It was good to see Patty and a belated Happy 42 Anniversary to Grant and Bev.

Okay, I have been sitting and playing too long.  No wonder I don't get anything done.
Here is a photo that I took on our trip back from Florida.  We stop at a Pecan store that we just love.  It is a family-owned business.  At one time, they also grew cotton.

Hi, Lorell! The grape hiacinths are wild around here, and as I said, only 3 inches tall at most....This blossom is about the size of my pinky!

Love the sky in your photo, was that original? Nice landscape shot, love the barn!! Speaking of pecans, my brother has 3 mature ones, and he has planted about 40 more. I told him he won't live to see them, but he is having fun planning his son's future....maybe it's a good idea.....We should all plant for the future!!
